Converse’s Center for 职业发展 adheres to the NACE Principles for Professional Practice for 职业服务 and Employment Professionals and expects employers to do the same. 的se principles are available on the National Association of Colleges and 雇主 website.

Our Internship Program encourages students to explore their educational and professional goals in a real-world setting.

1. Credit-bearing实习 during the fall, winter (January), spring or summer semesters.
2. Micro-internships, which are short-term, paid, professional assignments similar to those 给n to new hires or interns. 的se can take place year-round, typically range from 5 to 40 hours of work, and are due between one week and one month after kick-off.

Give a presentation about your company or organization and promote current employment opportunities. An employer information session is a great opportunity for you to get in front of a targeted group of students. 的se sessions can take place in the classroom or in a private meeting room on campus. Students have the opportunity to ask representatives questions regarding their specific company/organization.

Interested in interviewing students for current or future job and internship opportunities? 的 Center for 职业发展 is happy to organize on-campus recruiting opportunities for employers wishing to interview students for a job or internship. 的 employer can choose to collect the student resumes through 握手, 我们的在线职业平台, or they can be collected by a member of the Center. Once the resumes are reviewed, the interview schedule can be completed by the employer or a member of the Center.

Our 研究生/Professional School Fair is beneficial to students in all majors. Students as early as freshmen attend to gather application requirements and program information. More than 30% of our seniors attend graduate or professional school directly after graduation.
